It's all about the food.

At Orderup, our focus is our food.

Why do we do pizzas, tacos, and burgers? Simple. All three are “classic” foods. Foods with a history behind them.

We start with the classics, but we elevate them. We make all of our food fresh from our own recipes, and use only the best ingredients. Like hand-pressed patties and buns toasted with butter for our burgers. Our own sauce and fresh basil on our pizzas. A special-recipe marinade for our chicken tacos. As for our ice cream, pralines, and chocolate chip cookies — we make them all in house.

In the 1960s, author John Steinbeck gave this critique of the American restaurant landscape:

“Can I say that the America I saw has put cleanliness first, at the expense of taste? . . . If this people has so atrophied its taste buds as to find tasteless food not only acceptable but desirable, what of the emotional life of the nation?” 1

Wine

At Orderup, we think our food deserves to be paired with a good wine. So we seek out interesting wines and offer them at great values.

Take our burgers — sure, they’re great with a Coke, but even better with a glass of red wine. Or our marinated grilled chicken tacos, topped with guacamole: a glass of white complements the cilantro and lime flavors perfectly. Pair a white with a vegetarian pizza, or a red with a sausage and black olive pizza. If wine isn’t your thing, try one of our featured domestic or imported beers.

The great thing about our beers and wines is that they only taste expensive. But we think you’re worth it.
